Job Opportunity: Experienced Bookkeeper for Thriving Tattoo Shop in Indonesia
Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeper and play a vital role in managing the financial health of our unique tattoo shop. As a detail-oriented Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:
**Tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):**
– Analyze the labor-to-revenue ratio and average transactional value for actionable insights.
**Monthly P&L Projections:**
– Prepare detailed monthly Profit and Loss statements, including revenue breakdown by service and product.
– Analyze expenses, providing insights into cost categories and identifying areas for optimization.
– Track labor costs and assess their impact on the overall financial performance.
️ **Communication with Managing Director:**
– Regularly update the managing director on financial status, collaborating on financial strategies.
**Tax Compliance and Accountant Collaboration:**
– Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, including timely tax returns.
– Collaborate with external accountants to discuss tax planning and strategies.
**General Bookkeeping:**
– Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.
– Update and maintain the general ledger.
– Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system.
– Recording of debits and credits.
– Maintain the trial balance by reconciling general ledgers.
– Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
**Budget Management:**
– Assist in creating annual budgets, monitoring and providing recommendations for optimization.
– Monitor any variances from the projected budget.
**Financial Analysis:**
– Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
**Vendor and Client Communication:**
– Interact with vendors for invoicing and payment processes.
– Address client inquiries related to billing and invoicing.
**Expense Tracking:**
– Manage and categorize business expenses, implementing cost-control measures.
**Financial Reporting:**
– Generate and distribute detailed financial reports to stakeholders.
️ **Technology Proficiency:**
– Be astute with accounting and CRM software, including but not limited to QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho, Fresh Books, and Salesforce.
**Language Skills:**
– Proficient in English with a minimum level of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
**Relevant Skills and Knowledge:**
– Basic accounting knowledge.
– Understanding of accounting best practices.
– Knowledge of IFRS, U.S GAAP, or another accounting framework.
– Data entry skills.
– High attention to detail.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
– Produce work with a high level of accuracy.
– Professionalism and organization skills.
– Associates degree or at least one year of experience.
– Knowledge of XERO, Quickbooks, Zoho, Fresh Books, or other applications.
